What really matters?

What really matters is not numbers but progress. What really matters is not statistics but measures of positive changes. What really matters is not catching corruption but eliminating the need for it. What really matters is not headlines and deadlines but creating opportunities. What really matters is not money in the bank but money is thriving in the market. What really matters is not young leaving the country but the ones who choose to stay behind. What really matters is not parliamentarians with empty promises but the constitution in the making. What really matters is not what the government can do but what they are really doing. What really matters is not nationalism but finding our our place on the global map. What really matters is not speed of the development  but the outcome, intent and action. What really matters is not who comes and who goes but what they do when they are here. What really matters is not about success and failure but what we do each day. What really matters is not the cost of living but keeping people with their dreams intact. What really matters is not a promised tomorrow but each today lived to it's fullest potential. What really matters is not what we are capable of doing but what we achieve.  What really matters is not rhetoric but able to leadership. What really matters is not past failures but we can begin afresh again. What really matters is not what we receive but what we can give. What really matters is not doing things to be remembered but doing things that will live long after we are gone. What truly matters is not doing the right things but doing the right thing at right time.

What really matters is living - of having hope, vision and purpose - of dreams big and small - of aspirations and hard work - of working with integrity and passion - of being strong when things go wrong - of having courage and ability start all over again -of understanding and learning that never ends - of knowing when to hold on and when to let go - of choosing wisdom over knowledge - of creating value at work and bringing innovation to what you do - of enabling and fostering growth - of knowing how to share and not fearing competition - of practicing words like trust, faith, gratitude, giving, empowerment - of commitment to freedom and liberty - of standing up for what you truly believe in - of conceding to better logic and opinion - of leaving everything that you have touched better than when you found it.
